SPECIAL EVENTS -   

Wednesday, Premiere Night- Crystal R Cox Studios will be at the Market selling beautifully hand-painted canvas ornaments, each crafted in fun, festive colors. Crystal is a Chi Omega alumna who graduated with a BFA from SMU. She is donating 100% of the ornament sales to benefit COCM 2023.

Thursday- Author, Shayne Moore will be at the Market to sell and sign Women at Halftime, a book for anyone who may be looking for a new source of energy, significance, and joy in the next season of life.  In Women at Halftime, Shayne offers the building blocks for getting unstuck and finding renewed joy and purpose.

Thursday -True crime author, John Leake, will join us to share his book The Meaning of Malice. The story centers on Sandra Bridewell who D magazine featured in an article titled “The Black Widow”. John grew up in Highland Park just down the street from Sandra Bridewell. John has documented her life and meticulously investigated four violent deaths among her family and friends.

Thursday, 6-9 pm - Girls' Night Out  -with the purchase of a $20 raffle ticket, you receive a complimentary drink ticket and a chance to win:

  • a Gem Voyage Diamond Earrings, under $600
  • a Fur Cape from Alaska Fur Company, under $600
  • Interiors for Collectors, a designing book by John Phifer Marrs
  • 4 bottles of Monticello Wine

Friday 10 am-2 pm- Lauren Jacks Calligraphy will help us celebrate the magic of Christmas with an extra special letter straight from the North Pole! Lauren crafts personalized letters from Santa congratulating each child on a few achievements and giving a little extra encouragement. These beautiful hand calligraphied letters are truly keepsakes to treasure.

Friday 2 pm-5 pm - John Phifer Marrs is a premier Southern interior designer known for an elegant, fresh, and inviting style often called “The New Southern Style.” John will be on hand to chat, sell and sign his gorgeous book, Interiors for Collectors.

Saturday 10 am until they run out!  Power of Pie Last year, VNA (Visiting Nurses Association) Meals on Wheels provided more than 1.22 million home-delivered meals to homebound seniors and disabled adults in Dallas County.  With the purchase of a $25 pie or $15 bread, you can help powerofpie.org continue their important work. Buy a pie for Thanksgiving- Pecan and Pumpkin!
